Scientist and resident physician by day, molecular gastronome and avid photographer on nights and weekends (and sometimes during the days too). From a young age, Chewie was raised to be adventurous in his pursuit of gustatory delights, willing to travel far and wide searching for (or creating) great food. Initially developed as an escapist hobby during medical school, photography is his other passion.
Chewie likes to laugh, especially when it's inappropriate to do so.
Ann wishes, variously, that she were a Patagonian pyro-chef, a carnivorous fish of the deep, or a hraun-grazing sheep (summers only). Instead she has to content with a mostly terrestrial and sedentary life, although she'll seize any opportunity to travel or SCUBA.
Ann is a biologist by day. She's very good at moving almost invisible amounts of clear liquids back and forth between small tubes and spends a lot of time thinking about genes, molecular machinery, and cells.
Not pictured: our two nosy cats, a few hundred dwarf shrimps, and many plants (compulsively replanted every spring).
